Multiplex Kit

Information

This kit has been developed for the detection of new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in RNA samples obtained from human samples.

The reaction time is approximately 1 hour, it may vary slightly depending on the qPCR device used.

The primers and probes called N1 and N2 in the kit recognize the nucleocapsid (N) gene of the SARS-CoV-2 virus specifically for the virus. These primers and probes do not recognize the SARS-CoV virus, whose genetic structure is highly similar to SARS-CoV-2, and were developed for the specific diagnosis of SARSCoV-2 virus.

The RNAseP primers and probes included in the kit are intended to control the quality of RNA samples prepared from the samples and recognize the human RNAseP gene.

The template DNA contained in the kit is a synthetic DNA prepared for use as a positive control. It contains only the target regions of the N1, N2 and RNAseP genes amplified by the primer-probe sets included in this kit. It is not isolated from the virus, does not have the entire virus genome, and does not have any infective properties.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Products should be stored at -20°C.

It is recommended not to freeze-thaw the products more than twice. In cases where more freeze-thaw is required, the solutions should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C.

Primer/probe mixes are light sensitive and shipped in brown vials. Aliquoted reaction mixes also need to be protected from light.

Information

Easy to use: Add RNA sample.-Cold chain transfer is required.-

Lyophilized primer/probe mixture: Use with the choice of enzyme mixture.-Transfer and storage possibilities at room temperature
